Floralia, the light design project by Gupica for Nilufar.

The project suggests a climbing plant with lampshades in the form of stylized flowers anchored to composable modular structures.

They simulate structures and supports for growing plants, and allow the lamps to be arranged in various configurations, creating striking lighting installations.

Light bounces among the metal flower petals, creating evocative reflections that play off one another in the structural geometry of the design.

The green fabric cable imitates botanical stems, powering its floral lamp. Coming from below it allows the lamp to move freely in the space.

For Gupica’s third collaboration with Nilufar, the designer reprises the theme of the interaction between light and nature, envisioning Floralia as an evolution of the Flora floor lamp designed for the gallery in 2019.
